County of Burleson
Kown all men by these presents that I John J. Kitchen of the county of Milam and the State aforsaid for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by William Eastham of the said county of Burleson the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged at and before the signing of these presents hath this day Bargained and sold and do by these presents Bargain and sell ? transfer and convey unto the said William Eastham his heirs or ? a certain piece parcil or tract of land lying ? and situated in the said county of Burleson Bounded as follows towit Beginning at the North East corner of a certain fifty acre tract of Land deeded to Thomas Suppington by the said Kitchen as ? deed this date at a stone Thence North 71c East Six Hundred and twenty five ? to a stake for the North East corner Thence South 19c East four Hundred and fifty one and one half ? to a stake for the South East corner Thence South 71? West Six Hundred and Twenty five ? to a stake for the S.W. corner being the North East corner of the said fifty acre tract of Land in the name of Thomas Suppington as aforsaid Thence North 19c West with said Suppingtons line - four Hundred and fifty one and one half ? to the place of Beginning Making fifty acres ? ? it being one half of a certain one Hundred acre tract of land the said John J Kitchen bought of John Pomers in said county in ? ? to have and to hold all and singular the rights ? ? ? appertaining to the same of in any wise incidental - and I the said John J. Kitchen do warrent and forever defend the title to the said tract of land unto the said William Eastham his heirs or assignees against all and any person claiming the same or any ? thereof ? I here with sighn my hand and seal ? this the third day of January A.D. 1855.

Before me ? ? as a Notary Public in the for said County duly commissioned, Personally appeared John B ?, one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument bearing date the 3rd day of January A.D. 1855, who after being duly sworn deposited and sayeth that he saw John J. Kitchen sign seal and deliver the same and acknowledged in his presence that he had signed, seealed, and delivered the same for the Consideration and purposes therin ?, and that he signed the same as a witness
