William Bryant «b»Eastham«/b», Jr. passed away unexpectedly on 20 March 1998, age 58, on the spring solstice.
He was born on the winter solstice, 21 December 1939 in Salt Lake City to William B. «b»Eastham«/b», Sr. and Clarice Marie Haslam. Bryant served an LDS mission in England, which led him into the profession of social work. He spent his life serving others, and also built a network of friends which supported him. His love of nature was expressed in his therapy work, music, painting and his lifestyle. He strove to be one with nature, the universe and his divine self.
Survived by three children, Bryant (Annette) «b»Eastham«/b» III, Jean-Marie «b»Eastham«/b», Jennifer (Martin) Johnson; their mother, Renee Thornton; four grandchildren, Eric, Braden and Aubrey «b»Eastham«/b», and Jason Johnson; his brother, Irv (Ginny) «b»Eastham«/b» and sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Glathar.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 24, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the South Valley Unitarian Church, 6876 South Highland Drive (2000 E.). A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Cremation will follow.
