To all People to whom these presents Shall Come: Greeting know ye that I George Eatham of Brumfield Parish in the County of Culpeper for divers Good Causes and Considerations me thereunto Moving but more Especially for the Tender love and Good Will I bear to & for my well Beloved Son James Eastham of the parish and County aforesaid do Give Grant make Over and Confirm unto my said son James Eastham his heirs Ex_ors_Adm_ors and Assigns one Certain Plantation and Tract of Land belonging to the Same Situate lying and being in the above said Parish & County and Bounded as Followeth - Beginning at a white Oak near a Dead Pine in Nathans Underwoods line thence along his line to James Collins Corner and my Own thence a Strait Course to my Back line Agst Pickitts old Field thence a Strait Course to Crooked run - thence down the Run to a large Crooked pine on a Hillside near the said Run thence a Strait Course to the Beginning which said Above Bounded Lands I do hereby Estimage at one Hundred and seventy five Acres be the same More or less To have and to hold the above said Land and premises with the Appurtinances to the Same belonging or in any Wise appurtaining to him the said James Eastham his heirs Ex_ors & Adm_ors and Assigns forever to their only proper Use and behoof Forever In Witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty third day of April 1768
